*COMPLETE GROUND TOUR* B17 Flying Fortress "Sentimental Journey" + B25 Mitchell "Maid in the Shade"

From Tuesday, June 4 - Sunday, June 9, the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum brought these two iconic WWII aircraft to Rockhill Regional Airport in South Carolina as part of their 2024 tour season!

The two bombers flew in the morning of June 4 and remained at the airport for ground tours only, until Friday when they started their flights! Flights lasted from 9:00AM - 2:00PM for both the B-17 and B-25 with prices ranging from $475 per waist compartment seat and $850 per Bombardier/Navigator seat for the B-17 and $375 per radio compartment seat and $590 per jump seat for the B-25.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to fly in any of these aircraft but it was amazing getting to see these old birds in action and see them close up!

This day at Rock Hill was my first time getting to see a B-17 and B-25 actually flying rather than just sitting in a museum, as well as getting to go inside! So it was a great experience to finally see these world famous aircraft!

If you would like to see of these aircraft will be touring in your area soon, I'd suggest keeping a lookout on social media around the Spring/ Summer to see if any of the WWII historic aircraft will be going on tour to your nearby airport! This year just so happened to be year that both the "Sentimental Journey" B-17 / "MAID in the SHADE" B-25 and Doc the B-29 flew in to the Carolinas for their 2024 tour season!
