The Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) strongly condemns in the strongest possible terms the heinous killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the recent joint military strikes carried out by the State of Israel and the United States of America on Iranian soil.

This blatant act of aggression and targeted killing of a sovereign nation’s highest leader represents a serious violation of international law, human rights, and the basic principles of national sovereignty and dignity. Such unilateral military action, which has plunged the region into further turmoil and bloodshed, cannot be justified under any pretext.

The offensive by Israel and the U.S. that culminated in this grave loss of life has already triggered widespread instability, mass civilian suffering, and a dangerous escalation of conflict across the Middle East. The consequences are being felt not only in Iran but across the region, with retaliatory strikes and civilian casualties rising daily.

We extend our deepest condolences to the government and people of Iran, and we deplore the loss of innocent lives caught in this conflict. The MBT rejects violence as a means of resolving political differences and calls for dialogue, diplomacy, and peaceful negotiation as the only sustainable paths to de-escalation and long-term security.

We call upon the United Nations, regional powers, and the international community to take immediate action to halt further hostilities, uphold international law, and prevent further civilian bloodshed. The policy of military aggression must not be allowed to become a precedent in global geopolitics.

The death of any leader, regardless of political stance, underscores the urgent need for peaceful coexistence and respect for human life. We urge all parties to exercise restraint and prioritize the welfare and safety of civilians in the face of this escalating conflict.
