With "Immersion," Native American artist and UC Riverside Professor, Gerald Clarke, presents a large land sculpture that merges traditional Cahuilla basket weaving with an interactive game that challenges audiences' knowledge of local and global Indigenous history and culture.
"Immersion" is on display as part of the biennial, Desert X 2023, from March 4th - May 7th, 2023, at the following location:
