With "The Smallest Sea with the Largest Heart," Lauren Bon and Metabolic Studio have created a "device of wonder" that draws attention to the environmental crises of the Salton Sea through a transformative process of accretion.
"The Smallest Sea With the Largest Heart" is on display as part of the biennial, Desert X 2023, from March 4th - May 7th, 2023, on select evenings.
CORRECTION: "The Smallest Sea With the Largest Heart" is located in Palm Springs, not Palm Desert.
