Restaurant Style Methi Matar Malai is my winter favourite, but usually, it is loaded with heavy cream and calories. Today, we are making a Healthy Methi Matar Malai WITHOUT a single drop of cream!
In this video, I’m sharing my secret "Protein Rich Paste" that gives the exact same rich texture as restaurant gravy but without the heaviness and perfect for a healthy winter lunch or dinner.
Ingredients-
1. Methi / Fenugreek Leaves 100 gm
2. Matar/ Fresh Green Peas 100 gm
3. Ginger 1 inch (finely chopped)
4. Green Chilli 1- 2 no. (finely chopped)
5. Cardamom 3-4
6. Kasuri Methi 1 tbsp
7. Black pepper powder 1 tsp
8. Roasted cumin powder 1.5 tsp
For onion paste-
1. Onions - 2 medium (sliced)
2. Cashews 10-12
3. Melon seeds 2 tbsp
4. Ginger 1 inch
For homemade cream-
1. Paneer 80gm
2. Makhana/ Fox nuts 1/4 cup
3. Milk 100 ml
4. Water 200 ml (add more if required)
