Hello, I’m Faith from Faith ’n Grits! I’ve always wanted to create a journal inspired by Edith Holden’s Country Diary, and I’m finally diving in. The “EH style” is full of delicate botanicals, graceful hand-lettering, and a colour palette drawn straight from nature—where every season has its place.
In today’s video, I’m sharing a gentle progress update: adding in a few extra tip-ins and tip-downs, dressing up eyelets with trims, and weaving in small details that help bring the pages to life. Life has been busy, so my creative time has come in little snatched moments — but even in those snippets, this journal keeps quietly growing, piece by piece.
