No exaggeration—this was an absolute dream come true! Our journey through Ha Long
Bay was an experience of a lifetime that we wholeheartedly recommend to everyone
planning a trip to Vietnam. 🌄🌊

SETTING SAIL: WHICH CRUISE TO CHOOSE? ⚓
Choosing the right cruise really depends on your budget and what you're hoping for. We
went for a mid-range option after researching thoroughly, which turned out to be perfect.
(For this we obviously had to go over our daily backpacking budget).

We felt it was worth spending a bit more for this once-in-a-lifetime experience, as we also
wanted to have a serene cruise with not too many crowds (this cruise only has around 20
rooms). Of course, there are way fancier (and pricier) options and more budget-friendly ones too.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE BOAT?
We were welcomed with a refreshing drink & delicious lunch menu.
A stunning spacious room awaited us, with our bed looking out directly on the
breathtaking landscapes. Even the shower had a window with an open view! Most of all
we loved having our own little balcony to enjoy the sunset views.

Top-notch service & super helpful staff, so much delicious food - you won’t get hungry!
Throughout the day you are spoiled with many snacks.

BEST OF ALL? 🥳 Happy hour at the bar and even a jacuzzi!

HOW MANY NIGHTS?
Initially, we planned on just staying one night, but after hearing from others who only
spent one night that they felt rushed, we upgraded to a 2-night, 3-day package and
we're so glad we did! One night would've been waaay too short & the 2nd day made the
price totally worth it! This way we could fully enjoy all that the cruise has to offer & its
many activities at a more relaxed pace.

OUR BIGGEST TIP: BOOK IN ADVANCE! 🎫
Especially if you have a specific cruise in mind. These cruises fill up fast. We booked a
month ahead and options were already limited. Don't miss out on this fantastic
