Today I will be taking a look at a new tool which enables us to use the Nvidia Image Scaling in VR. The Nvidia Image Scaling option in the 3D settings only applies to 2D games, so this can be used for MSFS2020 in flat screen mode, however this tool allows us to use it in virtual reality.

I am sure quite a few of you have already tried this but I thought I would put a video together explaining how to use it and to show you what kind of results I am getting. I got this information from the official Microsoft Flight Simulator forums and would like to credit mbuccia for his hard work and dedication to creating this amazing tool.

NIS is intended to replace your use of the in-game render scale as it is very low cost, while performing an additional sharpening pass to improve visual quality. It should work with any VR headset which utilises OpenXR, and today I will show you how to use it in both the Reverb G2 and Quest 2.
