Today's California Zephyr #5 arrived in Fort Morgan at 0604 MST (19 min. late). Led by P42s #175 & #78, the 8-car consist was stopped with car 7 (coach) to the east platform for service to 1 detraining patron and then 1 new fare joining for a ride west. with the station work safely completed, the departure cue was given and on a clear signal the Zephyr continued its westward journey with the next stop being Union Station in Denver.
My thanks to the operating crew for the greetings this morning.
