Our Southern Forests: A Place for Us All

We know that forests, trees, their benefits and products mean different things to different people and that our significant Southern forests are sustained by many passionate, committed foresters, firefighters and landowners. Perhaps you might consider a career in forestry yourself or share this video with someone who is interested in the many jobs in the forest industry in the Southern United States.

The Southern Group of State Foresters has created a video series called People of Forestry to raise awareness of and support for forestry.

On behalf of the Southern Group of State Foresters, the video crew from KPKinteractive traveled through nine of its member states for over two months to capture the daily lives of forestry professionals nominated for this project to represent a variety of subjects and careers in southern forestry. Hear from these special People of Forestry and catch up on southern forestry facts and benefits by watching this video and others in the series.
