Conserving the significant southern forests that make up one third of US forestland requires cooperative, sustained effort by many diverse and committed people. Meet three southern forestry professionals dedicated to conserving forestland, jobs and legacy.
On behalf of the Southern Group of State Foresters, the video crew from KPKinteractive followed three southern foresters for several days to capture what they do to help conserve southern forestland. Meet Ken Martin, logger/landowner; James Shelton, Nursery Manager; and Vickie Roberts Ratliff, fourth generation timberland owner, and learn how they conserve land, legacy, jobs and the significant benefits of the forests for us all.
