This video series is an analysis of the in-game architecture of Hitman: World of Assassination, which includes Hitman (2016), Hitman 2 (2018), and Hitman 3 (2021). Each location in the game will be discussed in relation to real-world architecture styles and functions, as well as gameplay considerations.
Thornbridge Manor is a fictional manor, but the setting of Dartmoor is a real place in the south of England. The geology of Dartmoor results in a very high water table, and the soggy ground is generally unsuitable for architecture or agriculture. However, the damp and dreary setting is ideal for a murder-mystery, set in a gloomy old manor; not very practical in the real world, but a popular trope in fiction.
