This video series is an analysis of the in-game architecture of Hitman: World of Assassination, which includes Hitman (2016), Hitman 2 (2018), and Hitman 3 (2021). Each location in the game will be discussed in relation to real-world architecture styles and functions, as well as gameplay considerations.
The final level is set on a fiction island in the Andaman Sea. This level was not part of the main Hitman World of Assassination trilogy, but was added to the game later as a free expansion. Regrettably, the quality of the architecture in this level is not up to the same high standard as the previous parts of the game. Nevertheless, we can use this as an opportunity to discuss the difference between good and bad video-game architecture, and how to make good architecture.
