Abandon Miners Cabin Homestead with Starlink Satellite - Overlanding Nadeau Road in Panamint Valley

Описание: On this adventure we take the 28-mile Nadeau Road through the Panamint Valley to the Argus Range Wilderness. The Nadeau Road was originally build by Remi Nadeau, a French Canadian pioneer who ran a a teamster operation for a 20 mule team in the 1800's hauling ore supplies between the Cerro Gordo region and Los Angeles. His road has not improved in the past 150 years and a high clearance 4X4 is needed.

We set up our base camp in the Minietta Mine's Adopt-A-Cabin which is located at the Minnietta Bella Mine ruins. We also brought the first recorded satellite service to the cabin thanks to Starlink! We then rock crawled our vehicles up Stone Canyon and spent about 2-hours exploring inside the 3 level's of the Defense Mine which was founded in 1885 as a lead mine. We then headed to Look Out Mountain and explored the ruins of Look Out City, which was developed in 1886 to serve the Modoc Consolidated Mining Company which included the Minnietta Bella Mine.
