ATRIAL FIBRILLATION

1. Rate:
Atrial rate: May be 400-600 bpm (but many times cannot be counted d/t fibrillation)
Ventricular rate:
Less than 100: controlled
Greater than 100: uncontrolled
2. Rhythm:
** IRREGULARLY IRREGULAR **
3. P-wave:
**Non-discernible
4. Intervals:
**PRI: unable to measure
QRS: less than 0.12 (=normal)
