🍤 Crispy Garlic Shrimp with Shiso Leaves 🍤
Serves: 2–3 | Time: 15 min
Ingredients
15 vannamei shrimp
10 shiso leaves
1 clove garlic
A pinch of salt
100 ml canola oil
Instructions
Trim off the sharp tips of the shrimp tails.
Split the shells open from the back (careful, they’re slippery).
Remove the vein thoroughly.
Rinse the shiso leaves.
Heat canola oil in a pan.
Place the shrimp shell-side down in the pan.
Cook until the shells turn crispy.
Sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
Flip the shrimp, add the garlic, and cook the flesh.
Drain the shrimp once in a strainer, then return to the pan.
Add 1 Tbsp of the shrimp cooking oil and stir-fry the shiso leaves until crisp. Serve immediately.
