Poole & District MRS Exhibition 2018 Part 1

Описание: Poole & District Model Railway Society's Exhibition held at Poole Grammar School on 4th November. Very busy this year with an interesting selection of layouts. Part 2 will follow soon.
Layouts featured in Part 1 include:
00:42 Holcombe - 0 Gauge - Chris Vickery. A fictious station added on to the end of the GWR line from Frome to the quarry at Vobster.
03:08 Shillingsford - 00 Gauge - Ron Randall. Fictious branch terminus, loosely based on Shillingstone on the Somerset & Dorset Railway, set in the early 1960s. Also seen at Bournemouth, Fordingbridge and Purbeck Exhibitions.
06:12 Llaniog Town - N Gauge - Peter Molyneaux. Based on a Welsh valleys town. The coal in the coal train wagons was recovered from the Barry scrapyard.
07:10 Hillbrow - 009 Gauge - Steve Frackrell. Imaginary location in the south of England. Also see at the Bournemouth, Dorset, NG South and Romsey exhibitions.
08:38 Exton Quay - 00 Gauge; 16.5 Scale - Colin Lockyer. Cameo type of layout based on the Southern Railway in the mid 1930s.
10:15 Trenance - 00 Gauge - Fareham & District MRC. An imaginary joint GWR/SR terminus in Cornwall.
11:54 Kid's Layout - 00 Gauge - PDMRS.
12:13 Layout for Sale - 00 Gauge - Model Railway Solutions.
12:38 Arnold Lane - 0 Gauge - Uckfield MRC. Surburban station with small goods facility and daily passenger push/pull units.
15:00 TWA Dale Estates - 0 Gauge; 14 mm Scale - Duncan Croser. Represents a 2 ft gauge industrial scene with a number of animated features. Also seen at the Southampton Exhibition.
17:15 BNSF Horsethief Bridge - N Gauge - Antony Quinlan. Based on the ex-Spokane Portland & Seattle Railway in Washington State.
