Against advice decided to take NJ Transit to Newark Penn Station to catch my usual Amtrak train back south, and with good luck managed to catch one of the few Arrow III sets still running a midday Northeast Corridor Line local. The video you see was shot from inside the Arrow III train as we slowly navigated the Portal North Bridge Cutover Construction site, it seems that the connection on the north/east side of the river is already completed while crews are still working on the sections close to Kearny Junction. Anyways enjoy the video!
