In many societies, boys are taught from a young age that crying or expressing pain is a sign of weakness. As a result, many men grow up hiding their feelings, even when they are hurt, stressed, or struggling mentally. However, men are human too they feel sadness, fear, loneliness, and emotional pain just like anyone else. Accepting that men can experience and express pain is important for building a healthier and more understanding society. When men are allowed to speak about their emotions without judgment, it not only improves their mental well being but also encourages stronger and more honest relationships. Therefore, recognizing that “mard ko dard hota hai” reminds us that true strength lies in acknowledging feelings, not suppressing them. Roosh Sindhu is an accomplished Indian model and beauty queen who earned the prestigious title of Miss International India 2025. She went on to represent the nation at the Miss International 2025 world finals in Tokyo, Japan, where she secured a Top 20 placement. Her pageant accolades also include being crowned Miss Universe Gujarat 2024 and winning national subtitles for Miss Photogenic, Miss Glowing Skin, and Best in Personal Interview. Beyond the ramp, Roosh is a Journalism graduate and certified Fashion Designer who has showcased work at New York Fashion Week. As a dedicated mental health advocate with six years of psychological training, she authored Universe Within Peace and founded the Moralize Mental Health Awareness and Support Association.
