In this part, we complete the Barbershop Tower and Songbird Tower. And with that, we have activated every tower, giving us access to Heaven World.
These are the stages shown in this part:
Sneaky Spirits 2: 0:02 - This plays exactly the same as the first Sneaky Spirits level from Rhythm Tengoku. You just have to keep the melody of each ghost as they peek their heads out from behind the walls and know when to strike. Be careful, as some of them will go lower under the wall so you can't hear the music. Memorize their tunes and take the ghosts down!
Rhythm Rally 2: 02:02 - This plays exactly the same as the original Rhythm Rally from Rhythm Heaven DS... but with cake. This stage might be tricky for newcomers to the series with those fast balls, but once you get those down, it shouldn't be too bad. I think the Rhythm Rally stages are actually quite a bit easier using buttons.
Flipper-Flop 2: Successful Japanese attempt at 08:50 and English attempt at 11:14 - Without a doubt the cutest stage in the series. You're a harp seal and you just need to follow the orders given to you. You just need to press A to flip and B to do a Flipper-Roll. The amount of Flipper-Rolls that you need to do increase as the stage goes on. Its Skill Star is actually pretty tough as well.
LumBEARjack 2: 13:37 - This is a harder version of LumBEARjack, a new minigame introduced to Megamix, but it's still pretty easy in general. This stage introduces giant logs that you'll have to hit four times with your ax instead of one or two. That's pretty much it.
Barbershop Remix: 16:43 - I LOVE how this Remix looks. It's pretty interesting seeing... hairier versions of the characters. Its Skill Star is EXTREMELY tough to get if you don't know how to time it. Try to hit the ball back a little later than you'd expect to.
Tap Trial: 21:02 - This stage is back from the original Rhythm Tengoku and as you'd expect, it hasn't changed at all. You just need to press A at the right time to time your taps with the monkeys. They can either tap once, twice quickly, three times with a specific cue, or jump into the air, where you have to press A as the girl lands. This and Super Tap are two of my favorite stages from Tengoku, so it's great to see them return.
Frog Hop - Successful Japanese attempt at 27:13 and English attempt at 36:06 - This stage is back from Rhythm Heaven on the DS and it really hasn't changed. You have to tap A (or tap the touch screen) to the beat of the music to swing your hips. You'll also have cues to swing your hips twice or three times in succession, along with spinning. I have to say, this stage is much easier with the touch screen than the buttons.
Ringside - Japanese attempt at 29:56 and English attempt (with Skill Star) at 34:00 - "Whoa, you go big guy!"
I don't even need to explain this one.
Tangotronic 3000 - Successful attempt at 41:41 - This is a new stage introduced to this game. You're a suave robot that can do a mean tango. You'll get different audio cues for each action the Tangotronic has. If you hear two chirping noises, you'll have to tap twice shortly afterwards. If you hear three noises in succession, you'll have to tap three times. Finally, when you hear "Ready!" you need to hold B to spin the woman and then release B to stop. I didn't really like this stage at first, but I love it now.
Songbird Remix - Successful attempt at 45:30 - This is actually one of my favorite Remixes in the entire game. I don't really think I did it justice here, but I might record a better run of it later on in the Playthrough. As you'd expect, the Remix is bird themed and EVERYONE is part bird. It's actually one of the easier Remixes of the collection.
