A tutorial on how to make these simple but elegant cake pops!
A few tips (some of which were learned from the best of the best, Bakerella):
-Use a boxed cake and omit the oil! Reduces the risk of oil seeping out of the pops.
-one boxed cake makes approximately 45-48 cake pops
-our favorite candy melts are Ghirardelli (comes in white and dark chocolate) and Chocomaker (comes in many colors). You can’t use regular gel colors to color your melts, use coloring specifically made for candy melts.
-if you chill your pops, let them sit at room temp a few minutes before dipping to reduce risk of cracking in your candy shell
