Описание: Back pain is personal; its roots and causes, symptoms and management techniques vary from individual to individual. What helps one, might make another's back pain worse. Therefore, universal yoga for back pain can't exist...

So, this week's practice is a rather personal one - this is a sequence that I use for managing my own back pain. The focus is on stability over mobility - building support in the deep core with slow movement and intentional breathing.

There's no stretching involved, but amongst the stability exercises, there are moments of ease and release Child's pose and lying down on the belly.

If you have back pain and you're unsure of what's safe for you to do, then please consult your doctor or physiotherapist before taking part in this practice. This is a concervative practice, but it's important that you understand your own limits first 🙂 Your body, your practice ❤️

I'll use a folded towel and a bolster as props in this practice. These aren't mandatory - you can practice without them - but if you have something similar easily available, they might enhance your practice.
