We continue our series on Eating Seasonally in this video, and help you tailor your Early Summer foods and Late Summer foods. It is important to make this distinction in eating because our physical, emotional, and mental needs shift as the heat rises and then begins to cool down through the summer months. Therefore, our ways of nourishing ourselves must also shift to meet our needs so we can rise to our full potential all summer long. Dr. Crystal Nix, chiropractor and certified acupuncturist, provides insight on fruits, veggies, grains, meat consumption, beverages, herbs, and essential oils to use during the early summer and late summer seasons.
