This video is a recording of a live lecture given by Dr Daniel Sandana as part of the one-day Integrity Engineering for a Sustainable Future Conference in June 2023, jointly held by the Institute of Corrosion (ICorr) and the North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers (NEIMME).
Lecture Synopsis:
In this lecture Daniel will address the proposal to convert natural gas pipelines to hydrogen safely, and the challenges of introducing hydrogen into these systems and a roadmap to do so.
Speaker Biography: Dr Daniel Sandana, Rosen Group
Daniel is a principal materials engineer at Rosen and has over 15 years experience in asset integrity management in the upstream and energy transition markets worldwide. His current work focuses on the repurposing of pipelines for hydrogen and CO2.
