Hydrogen in pipelines and possible repurposing of existing infrastructure is a heavily discussed topic.
This webinar focuses on possibilities, challenges and opportunities in repurposing existing hydrogen infrastructure, as well as design parameters for new infrastructure. This includes pipeline design and related conservatism, pressure fluctuations, suitable materials and welds. Design criteria and test methods as an enabler for the green transition will be a key focus.
Meet your hosts
Geir is a lead pipeline engineer at Ramboll and subject matter expert on hydrogen pipelines with focus on pipeline design for onshore and offshore applications. Ditte Bilgrav Bangsgaard is a metallurgist employed at FORCE Technology with a focus on hydrogen related failure analysis, testing and understanding of hydrogen embrittlement phenomena.
The webinar is part of a development project which is co-financed by performance contract funds from the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Research.
