Charity Wild Camp on Meal Fell in aid of Keswick Mountain Rescue

Welcome back to another video. This time I'm in the northern fells, the Uldale Fells to be more specific. The event organised by Alan from ‪@54DegreesNorth‬ was to raise money for the Kewsick Mountain Rescue team by getting someone camped on everyone of the 214 Wainwright's on the same evening. Excellent stuff Alan, very well done, I'm sure we raised loads of money.

I chose Meal Fell for a couple of reasons. Firstly at 550m high, it's certainly not the tallest so gave me a greater opportunity not to spend the evening in the clouds should the weather not have been the greatest, and secondly it was not too much of a long walk from where I parked the car. This evening was all about the wild camp rather than the hike.

Mossy ‪@Walkingwildcampinguk‬ and Dave ‪@daveostlemountainman‬ were originally down to join me on this adventure camping on Meal Fell's neighbouring hills of Great Cockup and Great Sca Fell, but unfortunately due to work commitments on the re-arranged date they couldn't make it. But please go and check out their channels, they are both excellent.

On two other fells, were Karl ‪@TheSummitexplorer‬ and Robert ‪@Moffatmountainadventures‬ . I hope gents you both had a great evening on Bessyboot and Grasmoor respectively.
