The Kern Family Foundation was established in 1998 with a goal of empowering the rising generation of Americans to build flourishing lives anchored in strong character. Because the founders of the foundation believe that healthy local churches led by capable, committed pastors impact character formation in unique and positive ways, they designed a ministry program to equip pastors to lead healthy churches. This was the first of several conferences intended to foster the formation of Christian character in congregations served by Kern Pastors in the USA.
