Dallas Willard - Living the Eternal Life Now 1 - Your Kingdom and God's Kingdom

Описание: This is the first session from the "Living the Eternal Life Now" conference hosted by the Church of the Apostles, in Fairfax, Virginia, in February 2010. Dallas begins by introducing us to the four guiding texts for the series: Matthew 6:33 and 4:17; Romans 5:17; 2 Peter 3:18; and Colossians 3:1-4. He explains how the eternal life "from above" starts now, and reminds us that Jesus declared that we are the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13). He then explains what a human kingdom is, what God's kingdom is, the difference between the manifest presence of God and the ontological presence...and how we restore the ruined human kingdom and begin living our eternal life with God now as we continue "training for reigning!"

In the Q&A session, Dallas takes on thoughtful questions around desire - whether it's good or bad and how you manage it; alcoholism; and how to grow in grace, with many helpful insights embedded in each response.
