八高線前面展望 小川町→寄居 ＜Cabview Japamrail Hachiko Line Ogawamachi → Yorii＞

Описание: This is a cab view of the JR Hachiko Line from Ogawamachi Station to Yorii Station. This is the northern section, following on from my previous video from Koma River Station to Ogawamachi Station.

This is the northern section, but it was filmed on a different day.

Ogawamachi Station, the starting point for this video, and Yorii Station, the end point, were both regional centers, producing textiles and other products, even before the railway opened. Ogawamachi Station is connected to the Tobu Railway, and Yorii Station is connected to the Tobu Railway and the Chichibu Railway. However, in recent years, depopulation seems to be progressing, and fewer people are visiting the stations. The more frequent the train service, the more residents become dependent on cars, further contributing to the decline of railways. This ironic coincidence seems to be unfolding in this region as well.

Still, the scenery along this line is beautiful, albeit ordinary, and I hope to somehow help this line flourish. Photographed in August 2025
