🔽 Qiongkushitai Day 13 - June 14th

Today we hiked from Terrible Slopey Camp (2,834 m) to Herders Garden Camp (2,750 m).

After a sleepless night on the worst campsite ever, we faced the final pass of the section. It was a brutal scramble over huge boulders that tested our navigation and strength. But we made it! With the last major obstacle behind us, we descended into a beautiful valley and found a perfect, idyllic campsite to rest before our final push to town.

In May 2025, Siyuan and I started a 30 day traverse of the Tianshan mountain range in far west China, a route seldom undertaken by even the local Chinese hikers.
