March 2, 2019 - Join us on our misadventures along what we thought was the Peralta Trail, but later discovered that it was really the Lost Goldmine Trail in the Superstition Mountain area of AZ. We were wondering where all of the waterfalls and rock formations that we expected to see were hidden. Anyway, learned our lesson to check coordinates before starting.
It rained on and off during the hike so we reluctantly gave it up only 2.5 miles in, but this should give you a good idea of the trail’s condition. We found it to be a nice well-traveled trail with amazing scenery. Wish that we would have made the entire distance (10+ mile out & back), but was happy with what we did hike.
