My personal notes to keep this video organized.
The video should closely follow these notes below

Update opentx to 2.3xx
-Download latest ver of opentx from opentx.org
-Copy file to firmware directory on SD card
-Turn radio off , then turn on in bootloader mode
(Trim tabs in then Quick press power button)
Select bootloader mode
Load firmware
Edit verion.txt to match

In radio setup
-Create new model named ELRS (ex)
-navigate to Hardware page and set baud rate to 115200 if running qx7
-Turn ADC filter off
-turn internal module mode off in model setup
-select CRSF as external mode


Must have transistor telemetry mod if using a qx7

Must install resistor mod on R9 module

Download ELRS configurator from ELRS

R9M module bootloader flashing
and firmware version flashing
************************
Download tx module bootloader from ELRS
-Copy to SD card in firmware directory
-Flash to external module with module plugged into radio

Compile tx module build in ELRS configurator.
-Select frskyR9
-Select R9M
-Select bind phrase
-Click Build
-Copy the generated file to SD card in firmware directory
-Flash to External module with module plugged into radio.

Download Lua script from tx build screen
-Create ELRS directory on SD card
-Copy Lua script to ELRS directory on SD card

R9mm receiver bootloader flashing
and firmware version flashing via pass-through
*************************
Solder servo pigtail to rx per instructions

Download rx bootloader from ELRS
-Copy to firmware directory on SD card
-Plug rx into smart port
-Flash rx bootloader to external module

Solder rx to free uninverted uart per instructions
Connect to betaflight ,
-In ports tab, select the correct uart for serialrx
-In config tab, select Serial based receiver
and Select CRSF
-Enable telemetry
-In Receiver tab, Set RSSI channel to Disabled

Check CLI to be sure that serialrx_half duplex and serialrx_inverted are both off

Compile rx build in ELRS configurator
Select frskyR9
Select R9mm / R9mini
Select bind phrase
Select com port
Be sure to close betaflight and reboot quad to clear the com port
Plug in to USB on FC
Click build and Flash
When progress window says " retry " the build is complete and waiting on the receiver to power up in order to complete the Flash process
Plug in battery and the flash will proceed.

Final checks on betaflight

Connect to betaflight and check radio inputs , stick movements etc.
In the modes tab , Arm mode must be channel 1 and set to the high position for arming.
