After tackling the Burma Road (but not as you know it! – link’s on-screen), I realised it was time for an upgrade. So I picked up a Merida Big Nine 3000 – my new gravel/MTB bike – and took it on its first spin through the beautiful Rothiemurchus Estate and up towards the entrance of Gleann Eanaich (Glen Einich) in the Cairngorms, Scotland.
The ride was short, but what a way to test the bike – stunning Highland views, and a big grin the whole way. Absolutely loving it! 😍
