Exercise 7 – Standing Side Stretch
The standing side stretch is a great movement for increasing the mobility of your hips and core muscles.
Here’s how to perform the standing side stretch:
1. Stand up straight with your feet together and your arms by your side.
2. Straighten your arms above your head and clasp them together.
3. Bend your torso to the right while keeping your legs straight.
4. Hold the stretch for 1 minute, then bend your torso to the left while keeping your legs straight.
5. Bend your torso to the right and return to an upright position.
6. Lower your arms back down to your side.
7. Rest for 1 minute.
8. Repeat the stretch two more times.
