Discovering FANTASTIC free things to do in Cleveland (Vanlifers on a budget in Ohio)

We've been exploring Cleveland and have been pleasantly surprised by all the great things we have found to do here!

The Cleveland Botanical Garden is a beautiful oasis located in the heart of Cleveland’s University Circle on the East side of Cleveland. The garden was founded in 1930. One of its standout features is the Eleanor Armstrong Smith Glasshouse—a massive, 18,000-square-foot conservatory that transports you to two completely different worlds. On one side, a dry, spiny desert straight out of Madagascar, home to some of the world’s most fascinating and rare plants. On the other, you’ll find a lush Costa Rican rainforest, filled with tropical plants and colorful butterflies fluttering all around. The outdoor space spans 10 acres of themed gardens, including a Japanese Garden, Topiary Garden, Italian Garden, Woodland Garden, and Children’s Garden. The Cleveland Museum of Art is one of the top art museums in the United States. It's a treasure trove of artistic masterpieces, and it's been wowing visitors since it first opened its doors in 1916. Located in the heart of University Circle, this museum offers a stunning collection that spans over 6,000 years of creativity. And what’s amazing is that it’s completely free to visit—so you can immerse yourself in world-class art without spending a dime! And you know we love that!

Edgewater Park is a beautiful park on the west side of Cleveland with one of the iconic Cleveland script signs that has the Cleveland city skyline as a perfect backdrop.
