In which Dr. Corey Olsen concludes the discussion of JRR Tolkien's Unfinished Tales.
In our final class session, we discuss the chapter on The Palatiri, as well as questions I have received from participants. In particular, we pay attention to the elements of the Lord of the Rings story that Tolkien develops as he considers the Palantiri, especially the characters of Saruman and Denethor. We end with a selection of questions on each of the last few chapters of the book.
