Torque remains at a substantial 600 Nm (442 lb-ft), but the revised engine mapping, combined with an updated eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and Torsen centre differential, propels the special edition from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds—a notable improvement on the standard model’s 4.1-second sprint. Top speed is also elevated to 300 km/h (186 mph), while standard-fit RS ceramic brakes and RS sports suspension pro with coilovers provide the necessary stopping power and handling precision.

Beyond its performance credentials, the RS 4 Avant retains its reputation as a versatile sports estate. Measuring 4,782 mm in length with a 2,826 mm wheelbase, it offers a practical boot capacity ranging from 495 litres to 1,495 litres with the rear seats folded. The interior combines this utility with high-performance technology, featuring a 10.1-inch MMI touchscreen and a 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit with RS-specific displays. The cabin’s sporting intent is underscored by RS bucket seats upholstered in Dinamica and leather with distinctive honeycomb stitching, creating an environment that is both driver-focused and well-suited to everyday use.
