All credit to the Midland Railway who put on a brilliant show of railway operations which ran as smoothly as silk. Special thanks to the Railway's "Renaissance Man', Stephen (he does a bit of everything), for allowing Clive and myself into his hallowed domain at Butterley Box.
Locomotives in action were Coronation Pacific 46233 Duchess of Sutherland, Standard 5 73129, Jinty 47327, D1501 and D8048. On view were passenger trains, a goods train of substantial length and a parcels train.
