More snow showers and light totals for Central Oregon, tonight

• Запись - This is our first real winter punch of the year- not a blockbuster storm. But, enough to bring some totals, pile snow in the mountains and remind us that January’s just getting started. Sunshine returns soon, and with it, a warming trend that’ll make the weekend feel more like early March than deep winter. Until then, drive safe and enjoy the snow while it lasts.
We’re in for a bit of a pattern flip. While Thursday is the coldest day, the rest of the week trends milder. A weaker system may graze us this weekend with some rain/snow showers. Next week looks sunnier and much more pleasant- with highs reaching the 50s and lows creeping above freezing by Monday. Meanwhile, mountain snow keeps stacking up, especially through Thursday.
