Our team is working day and night assessing displaced persons in affected communities. We have witnessed heartbreaking realities—many people with disabilities have been forced to crawl instead of walk since birth. They have never had access to wheelchairs, making it almost impossible to travel long distances, attend school, reach medical care, or escape quickly when danger arises.
