Mug Dhokla | How to Make Spongy Dhokla In Microwave | 2 Minute Recipe | Gujarati Dhokla Recipe
Ingredients:
For Dhokla:
• Gram Flour (Besan) - 1 cup
• Water – ½ cup
• Asafoetida (hing powder) – ¼ tsp
• Sugar – 2 tsp
• Salt – ½ tsp
• Turmeric Powder - ¼ tsp
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• Fruit salt – 1 tsp
• Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
For Tempering:
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
• Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
• Curry leaves
• Green chilies – 2 to 3
• Salt to taste
• Sugar- 1 tsp
• Water – ¼ cup
Recipe:
1. Take all ingredients of Dhokla except Fruit salt in a mixing bowl. Gradually add water and mix with the help of whisker.
2. Whisk it at least for 1 minute to make batter light and airy.
3. Add fruit salt and mix again in one direction.
4. Pour the batter in a microwave safe Mug leaving about an inch space from top. Microwave it for one and half minute.
5. Heat a tadka pan and add oil. Add all other ingredients and add water. Let it come to a boil and keep aside.
6. Pour the prepared tadka water over Dhokla and garnish with grated coconut and coriander.
7. Serve hot and enjoy…
