LOCATION: 300 National City Blvd
AREA/CITY: National City
DETAILS:
The NCPD Sgt was driving north on National City Blvd. when a pedestrian ran out in front of him.
He swerved to avoid the pedestrian and lost control.
The Patrol vehicle hit a parked BMW, severed an electrical junction box before hitting the building.
The officer was shaken but not injured as his airbags deployed.
SDG&E has been called to cut off the power.
Northbound National City Blvd is closed at 4th St
