INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 3-19-25, 10:41 p.m.
LOCATION: Gilman Springs Road and Bridge Road.
AREA/CITY: Moreno Valley
DETAILS:
California Highway Patrol, San Gorgonio Office, and Cal Fire Riverside County, Moreno Valley, responded to a reported car vs a semi with an extrication call.
When units arrived, they found a white Scion with major front end damage and its driver still in the car.
Firefighter paramedics attended to the patient, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to a witness, speed was a factor (SOT)
According to CHP, the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit the semi, killing the driver.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved.
