कागभुशुण्डि जी, एक ऐसी शख्सियत, जो चिरायु हैं।
महा प्रलय में भी जिनकी मृत्यु नहीं होती और जो 28 चतुर्युगी से जीवित हैं।
परम ज्ञानी और प्रभु के परम भक्त।
प्रत्येक त्रेता युग में जब भी भगवान विष्णु जी श्री रामचंद्र जी के रूप में अयोध्या में अवतार लेते हैं। तो उनके बाल लीला का आनंद लेने के लिए कागभुशुण्डि जी निरंतर अयोध्या में आते रहते हैं।
ये वही पक्षीराज है जिनका सत्संग करके भगवान विष्णु जी के वाहन गरुड़ जी का संदेह दूर हुआ था।
मेघनाथ ने जब युद्ध में अपने नागपाश से श्री राम और लक्ष्मण जी को बांध लिया था तब उन्हें गरुण जी ने ही बंधन मुक्त किया था। तब उनके मन में शंका उत्पन्न हो गई थी कि- स्वयं भगवान इस तरह कैसे नागपाश में बंध सकते हैं ?
गरुण जी भगवान की लीला को नहीं समझ पाए थे और शंका का शिकार हो गए थे।
उनकी शंका के समाधान के लिए नारद जी ने उन्हें ब्रह्मा जी के पास भेजा। ब्रह्मा जी ने भगवान शिव जी के पास भेज दिया और भगवान शिवजी ने गरुण जी को उनकी शंका का समाधान करने के लिए इन्हीं कागभुशुण्डि जी के पास भेजा था।
इससे अब आप समझ गए होंगे कि कितने बड़े ज्ञानी रहे होंगे कागभुशुण्डि जी।
लेकिन सवाल यह है कि वे इतने बड़े ज्ञानी आखिर हुए कैसे ? कहां से प्राप्त हुआ था कागभुशुण्डि जी को ऐसा परम ज्ञान ?
