Twenty years and going strong! The Annual Garden State Film Festival (GSFF) New Jersey's Premier Independent Film Festival®, returns for its 20th anniversary this March 23 to 27 for live in-person events and the new virtual showcase on March 28 to April 3. This extraordinary anniversary all started as the dream of founder Diane Raver, 20 years ago to create a 501-c-3 non-profit organization, to promote the art of filmmaking on all levels. This globally recognized festival also provides creative arts education programs and creates a forum where local and international independent filmmakers can exhibit their work.

The Garden State Film Festival, New Jersey’s Premier Independent Film Festival®, is a global event that traditionally brings over 25,000 attendees to Asbury Park each year. “We hope you will join us and support our efforts in the State of New Jersey to use the cinematic arts not only to bring the best in a cultural event to our state, but to support our outreach programs throughout the entire state and throughout the year to seniors, underserved youth and our military among others” Said Executive Director, Lauren Concar Sheehy.

You can watch movie after movie after movie, see the virtual reading of the winning screenplay, plus industry related workshops. You will also hear the festival’s Movie Music Competition’s award-winning musical compositions played before the screenings and on the GSFF website. Add to that specialty events, after parties and lots more surprises. There are a variety of ticket packages for both in-person and virtual events, that let you custom your experience to fit your schedule.
