An intentional communication strategy could be scheduling regular virtual team-building events, as well as casual, open dialogue check-ins with team members.
Clarity on objectives could be agreeing on a target metric, like submittal-to-interview ratio if you have a team of perm recruiters. It could also be agreeing on a measurement of workplace satisfaction in you're in HR.
