Hey friends, it's been a while! I missed doing this! Here in our class, we're getting ready for state testing 😅 But no matter what their scores are, I'm CONFIDENT that my students have learned SO MUCH this year. It's amazing to see how much they've grown. Believe it or not, some of my students came in my class in the beginning of the school year not even knowing what 2 x 2 was. Now, they can solve word problems that involve division. They can tell time. They understand fractions. Etc! Though this year has been the biggest challenge and there were so many times I felt like not showing up, I'm feeling so grateful and amazed at everything my students have accomplished thus far. They're rockstars! They can do hard things. I love this rewarding job of mine. It's hard, but the outcome makes it all worth it.
