Week 4 Analog Life

Описание: I want to finish up this series this morning talking about the how to portion of our faith. As we have talked about through this series media can inform us, but it falls short in transforming us. How do we move past just knowing something about faith to truly allowing that knowledge to change how we interact with each other and interact with the world around us.

Social media can provide us with Christian content, but that content does not lead us to a authentic connection with God. How do we go from knowing things about faith to truly loving Him who died for that knowledge. Getting to know God through reading the Word, talking with other believers in the congregation, praying, worshiping are outward expressions of and inner change. Christianity is not a spectator sport where we sit and simply cheer on some people doing God’s work while we sit behind the glow of a screen. Christianity is not content seen its connections that takes place day to day.

I do not want people to be online and see God, see things of God, but at the same time fall short of being saved by God. I want to see people truly transformed in their faith. Transformation takes time and we need to ask ourselves where is all our time being spent?
