At midnight this morning Peel Paramedics, Peel Regional Police along with the TRU (Tactical and Rescue Unit) responded to an MHA (Mental Health Act) call at a townhouse complex on Silver Spear Rd north of the corner of Winding Trail in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Police officers arrived in backup before and ambulance and two tactical police vehicles. Initial details in the call mentioned that the patient was threatening to put razor blades into his mouth and EMS was instructed to proceed with caution. One male was apprehended without incident and arrested before being placed in the back of a police cruiser.
