👑🔥 The King Gruumsh Didn’t Want 🔥👑 – a King Obould Many-Arrows Anthem

I have to say, R. A. Salvatore hit absolute gold with this character. From his rise to his inevitable… well, not-so-inevitable fall. SPOILER ALERT: Unlike what you might expect, Drizzt never defeats him by the end of Book 3. Obould Many-Arrows lived and rose to become king of the orcs, founding the Kingdom of Many-Arrows. He even negotiated with dwarves and other neighboring realms—some wary, some impressed—carving out a place for his people in a world that rarely trusted orcs.

Now, sure, he got the blessings of Gruumsh, but given his “innovative” approach to orcish religion, you could call him… heretical. Lesser shamans, rival chieftains, and even his enemies all agreed: this orc was a brute blessed with intelligence and foresight no one dared expect.

Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of the whole “orcs joining polite society” angle of the Forgotten Realms—but you have to respect the menace Obould created. He beat the good races at their own game, playing them as cleverly as he dared while staying 100% orc.
